Card - Gesso Resist

Hello Crafters and Makers (:o)

My recently altered playing cards went into the mail.
The theme of this swap was nature / found poetry and there went a matching card for the hostess within my package of course

This card started with DecoArt Gesso and a ladybug

Next applied Distress Ink all over the card
pink raspberry - evergreen bough - mustard seed

Used another (flower) stencil and applied Distress Ink
fired brick

Removed the Distress Ink from the gessoed ladybugs with a baby wipe

Drew bubbles / circles with a permanent marker

Used a white and a gold marker inside of the circles and glued down my quote

Thanks for reading and your appreciated comments

Happy crafting!

Interessiert mich.

Liebe Grüße

Elly, this card is darling! Love your distress ink colors you chose to use. The lady bug stencil is so cute and I love your resist technique on this. Your black circles really are a great contrast and complete the entire card! Love it! I also wanted to thank you so much for the encouraging comment you left on my blog regarding my COLORFUL travel art journal. Glad I did it but not sure how much I will dive into the world of BRIGHT colors! haha
