Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is asking for an *Ode to Sunshine* and i gave some butterflies a new life.
This card was really a challenge for me, because i've never stamped that much on one card before
I've started stamping the fern - stamp onto white cardstock with embossing ink and used clear embossing powder. The next step was to distress the background. I started with mustard seed in the middle and worked my way to the outside with spiced marmelade, fired brick and vintage photo.
I think, i used all the flower stamps i own for the next part and stamped with Archival Ink and StazOn in different colours. Started with the lightest colour and finished in black.
I cut a dressform template from Honeycomb Paper ( Inky Antics ) and adhered it to the chipboard dressform.
I used the same distress inks as for the background on another sheet of cardstock and applyed Ranger Matt Medium on top. I stamped the butterflies on this sheet, but before...
....i used selfadhesive aluminium foil on the back to bend the wings of the butterflies so that they'll stay in place
The handmade adhesive chipboard letters are from K & Company. They are distressed too, to fit the background colours and i used Glossy Accents on top
Hope you like my ode to sunshine...and butterflies (:o)
